Galavision Lucha Libre TV Review for 7/29/06

    Galavision Lucha Libre TV Report
For the show that aired on July 29th, 2006.

This of course was a 3 hour AAA show, I'm not going into details anymore, 3 hour shows, especially 3 hour AAA shows are hard to do.

Koama Jr, La Diabolica, Mini Abismo Negro Polvo De Estrellas Beat Marth Villalobos, Mascarita Sagrada, Pimpinella Escarlotta, Rey Cometa
1 Fall Match: Fairly short, entertaining sports here and there. About average match, Diabolica pinned Martha.

Antifaz Del Norte, Corazon Del Barrio, Hator Beat Abismo Negro, Histeria, Psicosis II
1 Fall Match: The rudos attack Abismo just as he comes out on the stage and give him a Martinette(Tombstone Piledreiver), he plays dead, and is taken out and is not involved in the match at all. Psicosis and Histeria make a comeback, but they lose.

    AAA Atomicos Championship:
Chessman, Cuervo, Escoria, & Ozz Beat Shocker, Zumbido, Scorpio Jr., & Alan Stone.
2 out of 3 fall match: Short falls, but the Guapos lose because of interference from Cibernetico and low blows. Words are exchanged afterward, Electroshock comes out, Pena comes out and Ciber reveals his big surprise, it's Electro's rudo turn who hits Pena over the head with a chair. Zorro comes out and says, he knew of Electro's alegeance and that he wasn't a nice guy, but nobody would believe him. Pena bleeds.

Billy Boy talks of his relationship with Faby Apace, and the troubles with her Dad Gran Apache, and challenges him to a hair vs hair, Apache doesn't have hardly any hair at all.

Super Calo and his Dad meet and have lunch and he reveals he has a half brother he never told him about.

Scorpio Jr. and Alan Stone are walking in the street and meet up with the punks who kidnapped and attacked Shocker. After some words, Scorpio and Stone beat them up.

Zorro interview, he says he's been defending his title for 3 years now, and he'll take on anybody.

    Chain Match:
Zorro & Intocable Beat Electroshock & Charly Manson
The winner had to touch all 6 corners of the ring to win. Zorro was chained to Charly, and Intocable was chained to Electro. Pretty much all the expected chain match spots, where one guy would touch 5 but not quite 6 corners before getting stopped by they other guys partner. This went on while with Intocable finally touching all 6 corners to win it. Electro beat up Zorro afterward. Pretty good as these sort of matches go. But nobody bled.

La Parka Jr., Octagon, Luzbel Beat Cibernetico, Muerte Cibernetica, & Espiritu.
1 Fall Match: Okay to average match. Children were running up to greet the tecnicos, but Parka ran away and made a point to avoid them, strange. Muerte was painted gray, basically a Gronda gimmick. They gave Luzbel a 3 on 1 suplex, and Espritu gave him a spring board moonsault. It settles to to a basic beatings back and forth, Ciber unmasks Parka, but no DQ yet, Parka topes him anyway. Octagon and Luzbel have submission holds on Muerte and Espiritu when La Secta comes out to join into a gang beat down and get the rudos Disqualified. In Interviews beforehand Parka was upset about Muerte stealing his gimmick(the mask), saying he's worked hard for it and you just can't come along and take it. Wanted a mask vs mask thing.

And that wrapped up the show for this week. Try to find a cool shady spot.

Galavision Lucha Libre TV Review for 7/22/06

I know I've gone a while, real life stuff and all, I'll try to do better.

Galavision AAA Lucha Libre TV Report
This is for the show that aired on July 22, 2006.

This was part two of the Rey De Reyes show. They aired some past Rey De Reyes from years past. If you don't mind, I'm not really go into detail on those old matches, covered them the first time, have no desire to cover them again.

It begins with some couples dancing in the ring for a few minutes.

Rey De Reyes From March 30, 2001:
La Parka Jr. vs Latin Lover vs  Abismo Negro vs  Heavy Metal

It comes down to Abismo and Parka, it looks like Abismo has it locked up with the help of the rudo ref Tirantes. A ton of heat with the fans throwing junk into the ring. But Parka winds up winning it with a submission backbreaker. Parka won this one.

    More dancing girls.

Electroshock, Charly Manson, Hator, Cassandro  vs    El Zorro, Pimpinella Escarlotta, El Angel, Rey Cometa

1 Fall:  Charly & Hator hold Zorro for Electro to kick him. Hator punches Pimpi. Electro throws Zorro into the ringside seats. Zorro & Electro swing chairs at each other. Electro hits Charly by mistake. Angel does a top rope plancha outside to Hator. Cassandro does a moonsault outside to them. Pimpi does a tope. Cometa does a twisting plancha from the top, he missed everybody. Zorro does a German Suplex to Electro. Electro locks on a reverse figure four on Zorro, and Zorro gives up, but Electro will not release the hold, so ref Tirantes Jr. gets Zorro's kendo stick and hits Electro with it. Electro gets a chair and hits Tirantes Jr. with it. The rudos are DQ'd. Tecnicos win. Electro beats on Zorro some more with the stick. Zorro gets up and superkicks Electro.

Rey De Reyes from March 16, 2002:
Octagon vs Cibernetico vs Pirata Morgan vs Canek.

Comes down to Ciber and Canek. Pena and Alebrije come out to distract Ciber, Canek does his military press on Ciber, drops a few elbow and pins Ciber with a fast count from Tirantes Jr. Canek won this one.

News: They revealed that the Grand Traitor was Electroshock from a few weeks ago. He hit Pena over the head with a chair and Pena bled.

Rey De Reyes from March 21, 2004.
    Latin Lover vs Jeff Jarrett

Jarrett spent most of this match beating the piss out of Latin. Latin made a comeback with the help of his second Hector Garza. Then Abyss came out, he picked up Hector and threw him into the ringside seats, and gave Latin his move. Latin and Hector together took care of and fight Abyss. Abyss pulled the ref out of the ring, then Jarrett low kicked Latin, and gave him the stoke, and pinned him. Jarret won this one.

    Dancing girls dance some more.

    Alan Stone vs Intocable

1 Fall:  Stone does a spring board splash for a 2 count. Stone tries another but this time Intocable does a facebuster to him. Intocable does a head scissors to the outside then hits a moonsault to Stone. Shocker comes out and accidently hit the ref Copetes Salazar with a chair. Stone accidently hit Shocker with it also. Intocable was kicked into the first row, and Stone tried a plancha to him, but didn't come anywhere close. Both guys were counted outside the ring. No winner.

Rey De Reyes from March 11, 2005.
Abismo Negro vs Konnan vs Jeff Jarrett vs La Parka Jr vs Chessman vs Latin Lover

The rudos gang up on Parka and Latin. The Psicosis comes out to make it 4 on 2. Then Cibernetico comes out making it 5 on 2. Cibernetico pins La Parka but he wasn't in the match, so they gave the win to Parka. Parka wins this one.

    Rey De Reyes:
Shocker, Scorpio Jr.,  Zumbido vs Cibernetico, Chessman, Muerte Cibernetica vs Konnan, Ron Killings, Somoa Joe vs Octagon, Vampiro, La Parka Jr.

The intros took a long time. During the intros, Shocker kissed Konnan on the back of the neck, and Killings busted out his dance moves, and Vampiro came out with a group of vampires and female victims, well, it was something you had to see. If any one guy of the 3 men teams lost, thier partners were also eliminated. La Secta threw the Gruapos into the first row. Chessman tried a flapjack, but Parka turned it into a facebuster on  him. Team TNA argued with fans at ringside. This match settles down some to a regular match. Vampiro traded moves with Muerte. Then Killings and Vampiro traded moves. Chessman administers kicks to Somoa Joe, before Joe and Konnan gang up on him. The match goes back and forth with various sides taking control. Intocable comes running out at this point, but the Guapos are ready for him beat him up and toss him into ringside. The Guapos are counted outside the ring, they are eliminated. Octagon topes Chessman. The Guapos are still beating on Intocable, when Zorro, and Angel come out to help him. Octagon was injured on the tope and was carried out. Chessman and Joe trade enzuigiri's. Chessman body slammed Joe, but missed a splash, Joe moved. Konnan locks on the Tequila sunrise on Chessman, who apparantly submits, but Team TNA does not let up, continuing to work on and stomp on Chessman's knee. Team TNA are DQ'd, and sent to the back. KENTA came out and attacked Team TNA on thier way to the back, he kicked Joe right in the face. They fought to the back. Muerte and Ciber give Vampiro a sort of 3-D. It's now La Secta vs Parka & Vampiro. Chessman was apparantly injured by Team TNA's beating, and taken to the back. Ciber low kicks Parka. Muerte spears Parka,  Parka spin kicks Muerte then topes him. Vampiro fights Ciber in the ring. Ciber power bombs him. Then gives him about 3 chair shots. Ciber slams Vampiro 6 times in a row. Then Ciber hits Parka with the chair when he tried to enter. Then Vampiro schoolboys and pins Ciber for the 3 count and the win. Your Rey De Reyes(King of Kings) winner is Vampiro. One of Vampiro's female victims came back out with the crown and presents it to him. Afterward, Ciber gets on the mike and said he wuz robbed. Vampiro said, you're one of the biggest names in lucha libre and I respect you and offer my hand to you, but what you do now demonstrates you still lack class. And the people I won the Rey De Reyes, and I am better. Ciber said, you won but you didn't win well, he challenges Vampiro to a one on one, legend vs superstar. Vampiro said, for the next year he intends to bring law and order to AAA, and the Rey De Reyes crown is back in the hands of AAA. Pena who came out with Zorro and KENTA  from earlier, challenged Muerte to put his mask up against Parka.

And that wrapped this weeks show. See you next time.
