March 29 New CMLL show for 2/25/06Hey
everybody, it's time once again to go over another new show. This one
is from Feb. 25, 2006. But this show will likely never be shown on U.S.
Galavision, it's 3 hours long, and our Galavision tends to skip over 3
hour shows. Your only way of seeing it is thru 'Fredo I guess. The
first hour was filled with mid-card matches. Mistico opens the show saying that once again he hopes to be going after the tag team titles soon and this time he believes they'll win, and stay tuned to the best lucha libre in the world. Sagrado, Virus, Texano Jr. vs Shigeo Okumura, Hajime Ohara, Nitro 1st Fall: Virus and Nitro start off the match doing a few moves and holds. Ohara does a backslide on Sagrado for a 2 count. Virus does a spring board armdrag on Nitro, then a 'rana to Nitro on the outside. Texano does a missile drop kick to Okumura, then Sagrado does a moonsault from the top rope, and pins Okumura for the 3 count. Texano does a backbreaker and pins Ohara. 2nd Fall: Okumura and Sagrado exchange chops. The rudos beat up on Virus, then on Texano, then on Sagrado. With Sagrado sitting on the top rope, Okumura German Suplex's him into the ring. Nitro and Ohara submit Sagrado to win this fall. 3rd Fall: Right off the bat, Texano does a sidewalk slam to Okumura, then does a corkscrew moonsault from the 2nd rope, but Nitro breaks up the pin. Ohara administers some kicks to Virus and gets a 2 count. Virus gets a reverse figure four leglock on Ohara, but he made the ropes. From the Martinette position, Virus did a flapjack to Ohara, then Sagrado did a spring board splash to Ohara, but Okumura broke up the pin. Okumura DDT's Virus on the ramp. Texano does a plancha to Ohara on the outside. Virus does a Tequila Sunrise to Nitro and submits him to win this match. Not a bad match. Hooligan and Apocalipsis vs Tigre Metalico and Leono 1st Fall: Tigre and Hooligan are already wrestling when this match begins. Apocalipsis tries a surfboard on Leono, but he got out. The rudo team start a beat down on the tecnico team. Apocalipsis does a sidewalk slam on Leono, and drops like 4 elbows on him and pins him. Hooligan does a Styles Clash on Tigre and pins him to win this fall. 2nd Fall: They throw Leono around by the hair. They spend some time beating up on Leono. Leono then does a spring board drop kick to Apocalipsis, then a plancha to him to the outside. Tigre does an inverted 'rana and pins Hooligan to win this fall. 3rd Fall: The action goes back and forth for a while. Tigre topes Hooligan. Leono does a spring board cross body to Apocalipsis. Leono then does a spring board frog splash to Apocalipsis and pins him for the 3 count to win this match. Good match. Sagrado, Metro, Tony Rivera vs Shigeo Okumura, Hajime Ohara, Hombre Sin Nombre 1st Fall: Tony and Hombre start off the match. Tony does a back elbow and a quick senton for a 1 count. Ohara does a few kicks and a forearm to Metro, Metro armdrags him a few times, then does a tope to him outside. Sagrado tried a corkscrew moonsault but missed, nobody home. Hombre does a guillotine legdrop on Sagrado from the top while Sagrado was across Okumura's knee. Hombre pins Sagrado, and Okumura does a Dragon Suplex on Tony and pins him to win this fall. 2nd Fall: The rudo team are beating up on Tony and give him a gang flapjack. They do the same to Sagrado then to Metro, Ohara kicks him a few times then does a Death Valley Driver to him and they all pin him. Okumura gives Tony a Superplex, and they're all punching the daylights out of him when Sagrado gives Ohara a missile drop kick, does a 'rana to Hombre, and Tony comes off the top rope with a frog splash to Hombre and pins him. Sagrado then does a nice moonsault from the top to Okumura and pins him also to win this fall. 3rd Fall: Tony superkicks Hombre to start this fall. Then Tony does a sunset flip tope to Hombre on the outside. Metro does a headbutt tope to Okumura and gets a 2 count. Metro does an inverted 'rana for another 2 count. Okumura does a stunner, then a clothesline to Metro and gets a 2 count when Tony breaks up the pin. All sides clothesline each other, then Sagrado does an spring board senton to Ohara. Sagrado tried a 'rana on Hombre, but Hombre held onto him, and Okumura kicked Sagrado in the head while still held upside down, then Hombre power bombed Sagrado and pinned him to win this match. This was a very good match. Dos Caras Jr., Hijo De Lizmark, Heavy Metal vs Rey Bucanero, Mascara Ano 2000, Apollo Dantes 1st Fall: Heavy and Ano start off the match regularly, no beat down, just yet anyway. After just a few seconds, Ano claims an injury to his arm, and he and Apollo go backstage, leaving Bucanero alone. The 3 tecnicos do a beat down on him, after which Heavy does a majistral and pins Bucanero. The referee starts counting since Rey was not the captain, Apollo comes out to the ramp, but doesn't get in the ring, the ref counts 20 and he is counted out. Tecnicos win this fall via count out. Apollo and Rey talk things out at ringside between falls. 2nd Fall: Apollo is now with Rey, but still no Ano. Heavy and Apollo exchange blows, with Heavy giving him a clothesline. Apollo returns the favor, then Heavy does a flying head scissors outside. Caras gives Rey an enzuigiri, then another one when Apollo is on the 2nd rope. Rey asks the other tecnicos to come in, when they do Rey gives low blow kicks to Lizmark and Heavy, and Apollo pins Lizmark, the ref apparently not having seen the low kicks, then Rey and Apollo give Caras the shattered dreams kick in the corner, but this they see, and disqualify the rudos. Tecnicos win in 2 straight falls. Momentos Estelares: They were highlight spots from last week. In a bit about a Capos/Guerreros deal. Universo meets with Tarzan Boy, Tarzan says he's sorry but Ultimo couldn't be here, he had to wrestle somewhere else tonight. Universo says, you can depend on our help tonight just as helped Ultimo last week, we won't let you down. Tarzan says thanks he'll spread the word to the rest of the Guerreros. Universo says he wants only for them to leave Perro Aguayo Jr. to him, it's personal becuase of Damian and Aquila coming out in Cien Caras masks last week. Tarzan says okay, they will handle Hector Garza and Terrible and leave Perro for him. Universo says it's time for Perro to take off the wedding dress of a bride and put on some pants and agree to the hair vs hair match with him. They talk some about futbol(soccer), Tarzan asks who he supports, Universo says America but don't tell anybody he doesn't word getting out about that. Ultimo Guerrero, Tarzan Boy, Universo 2000 vs Hijo Del Perro Aguayo, Hector Garza, Damian El Terrible 1st Fall: Los Perros come out come from the opposite side of the ring surprising and ambushing the Capo/Guerreros, and the beat down is underway. Perro does the double foot stomp to Universo from the second rope while Universo was held by across Terrible's knees, and Universo is pinned. Perro's win this fall. 2nd Fall: The Capo/Guerrero's mount a comeback almost immediately into this fall. Universo slams Perro on the ramp. Ultimo gives Terrible a nice one man spanish fly. Tarzan gives Terrible a missile drop kick. Tarzan and Ultimo try 'rana's but Terrible and Hector turn them into power bombs and attempt to pin them with thier feet on the ropes but the refs saw them. Ultimo monkey flips Tarzan into a plancha on Terrible and Hector outside. Ultimo does a moonsault from the second rope to the outside. Universo armdrags Perro from the top rope. And just like last week, two more guys come out in Cien Caras masks, this gives Perro the momentum to give Universo a double foot stomp, but this time they attack Perro. They beat down on Los Perro's 5 on 3. The Capo/Guerrero's are DQ'd. They remove the masks and it turns out to be Cien Caras and Apollo Dantes. Pretty good brawl. Anyone notice Universo can't run, it looks silly to see him fast walking his way across the ropes or into a corner. Negro Casas is telling Black Warrior who is in a half BW half Mistico mask, it's a pity you guys didn't win the tag team titles last week. Black says, he was screwed, they won fairly, the ref didn't see Averno and Mephisto use the ropes. Negro says it's too late to dwell about such things, if you want to do something ask for a revancha. Negro advises him to seek revenge and concentrate on winning this next match. Mistico, Negro Casas, Black Warrior vs Atlantis, Averno, Mephisto 1st Fall: Warrior came out wearing the same mask he had on earlier. The rudos come running out and the rudo beat down is instantly underway. Atlantis was wearing a hugh bandage across his left shoulder. Black does a tope to Averno, Mistico does a plancha to Mephisto. Negro does a Sharpshooter and submits Atlantis to win this fall. Some nut at ringside took off his shirt and tried to go after Warrior, Security desended and kicked him out. 2nd Fall: The match settles down somewhat with Black and Averno exchanging moves. Averno and Mephisto give Negro a double head butt. Mistico does the flying head scissors thing to Averno & Mephisto. Negro does his senton outside to Atlantis. Mistico does the 619 to Averno. Black puts a submisstion hold on Averno, and Mistico does the torneo armbar to Mephisto to win this match in 2 straight falls. Warrior gets on the mike asks for a revancha match for the tag team titles and claims are the refs are against him. Mephisto says he wants a mask vs mask with them. Black says fine, but first the titles. And that wraps up this long show, I forgot how long it use to take me to do a 3 hour show. Next week, Palumbo and Stromboli debutted. Santo does a plancha to him from the top to the outside. Things start getting tense as Negro goes into his rudo act, he delivers kicks and running kick in the corner to Santo. Negro drops an elbow and gets a 2 count. Negro goes for his Casita, but Santo turns that into a Tapatia, and rolls back with him with both thier shoulders being down, and both got the 3 count counted on them. The Commisioner orders that since this is an elimination match there has to be a winner and orders another fall. Within a few seconds Santo gets his Camel Clutch on Negro and submits him to win this half of the tournament dedicated to his father. Santo and Negro make up and shake hands afterward.
